U15 boys sink Maldives 10-0

Buriram: Bangladesh national U15 football team has beaten the Maldives 10-0 in the final match of the UEFA U-15 Men’s Youth Tournament 2018. Bangladesh dominated their South Asian counterparts straight from the 3:00pm (BDST) kick-off at the Chang Arena in Buriram, Thailand. Skipper Helal Ahmed opened the scoring in the 12th minute and gave Bangladesh the lead. The prolific forward the completed his hattrick by scoring in the 15th and 33rd minute. Ashikur Rahman was the other hattrick hero who scored twice within a minute around the 39th minute of the game and completed his treble in the first minute of added time after the regulation time was over. Attacking midfielder Nihat Jaman Ucchash and Rasel Ahmed scored a brace each to complete Bangladesh’s 10-0 rout of Maldives. The Red and Greens will now return home after a successful friendly tournament in which they lost to Cyprus, drew with Thailand and thrashed Maldives.
