Jamal and Co ready to take on Laos

Bangladesh national team is ready and prepared to take to the field against Laos in the first leg of FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 joint pre-qualifiers Round-1 tie in Vientiane on Thursday. The head coaches and captains of both sides expressed their thoughts on the match at a pre-match press conference in Vientiane on Wednesday. Giving full respect to the hosts, Bangladesh head coach Jamie Day said, “We have good preparation doing good training for last 10 days at Thailand. It will be a very tough match because Laos are also a good Team, Our team will give best effort for winning tomorrows match at Laos.” Also acknowledging Laos as a very strong team, captain Jamal Bhuyan said, “It will be a fighting match with Laos. Our team has good preparation in Thailand also we all are ready to give best match without doing mistake. Hope our team put fill effort to win the match.” On the other hand, Laos head coach V. Sunbraum said, “We are ready to play the match against Bangladesh as Our team play two preparation match against Sri Lanka. It will be a tough match for both team .Bangladesh Team are very good strong team they have some Young U-23 Talented & good senior players in the team, No one can say who is favorite for tomorrows match, only we are having advantage as hosts to get support from spectators.” Laos captain Soukaphone also sees the match as a very difficult one. “Tomorrow is very important match for us , it will be good match as we both team know each other before , We will play our best , our attacking side are good so we want to have good result ” The match will kick-off at the Lao National Stadium KM 16 Vientiane, Laos at 5:30pm BDST on Thursday, June 6.
