UEFA tournament: U15 boys draw 1-1 with Thailand

Buriram: Bangladesh U-15 National Football Team has made a 1-1 draw against Thailand in UEFA Youth International Tournament on Wednesday. It was the second match for the teens in the tournament in Thailand’s Buriram. Earlier in their first match, the red-greens beat Cyprus by 4-0 goals. But today, it was a bad day for the Bangladesh teenagers. Bangladesh striker Ashikur perfectly used the first chance he got at the 34th minute. But as the first half of the game was about to end, the hosts made the score equal from a corner kick. The rest of the time, both the teams tried to unlock the door of the nets but failed. As a result the boys have to finish the game with a draw. Bangladesh will face Maldives in their third and final match on Friday.
