U18 girls gear up to face Nepal in SAFF final

Thimpu: Bangladesh U18 women’s national team are preparing for the final of the SAFF U18 Women’s Championship 2018 set to be played tomorrow. The final match between Bangladesh and Nepal will kick-off at the Changlimithang Stadium at 7:00pm on Sunday, October 7. Ahead of the final, the Bangladesh team held a staff meeting on Saturday morning to review the Bhutan game. After breakfast, the players and staff had a morning walk before players’ conditioning programme at the gym. However, the team had no practice session before the final. There were light development programmes for all players too. The team then analysed the first semi-final match played between India and Nepal where the latter emerged as winners after a penalty shootout. The staff also worked with individual players keeping the final match against Nepal in focus. All the players and staff are confident of putting up their best performance in the final.
