SAFF Women’s U18: Prep for semis in full swing

Thimpu: After securing group championship by beating Nepal on Tuesday evening, the U18 girls are preparing themselves for the upcoming semifinal against hosts Bhutan. The team staff had a review meeting of the Bhutan game to dissect the team’s performance. On Wednesday morning, the players and staff had a walking and stretching session. The staff checked and reviewed on injuries to players from last night’s game. Then there was a conditioning and recovery programme for all players, in the Gym. The staff also arranged light development programmes for certain players. The whole group then went shopping in the local town for some recreation. Bangladesh will face Bhutan on Friday, October 5.
