Bangladesh Police FC registered yet another victory, this time against Agrani Bank Limited Sporting Club, on their way to be promoted to Bangladesh Premier League.
Keeping their red hot form going, Police dug out a 1-0 victory against Agrani Bank on Monday afternoon.
Md Kabirul scored the only goal of the match in the 67th minute.
With only one matchday of the Bangladesh Championship League to go, Police FC extended their lead at the top to six points. Agrani Bank, on the other hand, are fourth with 26 points from 19 games.
Meanwhile, T&T Club Motijheel beat Wari Club 2-0 to move up the BCL table on Monday.
Atikul broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute.
Parvez then sealed victory by scoring in the first minute of added time after the regulation 90 minutes.
T&T Club are now 5th on the table with 26 points from 19 matches whereas Wari are 8th with 23 points from the same number of matches.
