Cox’s Bazar: To commemorate and respect the memory of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the international Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018 is being held (from October 1 to 12) at Dhaka’s Bangabandhu National Stadium, Sylhet District Stadium and Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium in Cox’s Bazar.
With the group round over, semifinalists Bangladesh, Palestine, Philippines and Tajikistan have arrived in Cox’s Bazar to fight for a place in the final whereas Laos and Nepal have gone back home.
The semifinals (Philippines-Tajikistan and Palestine-Bangladesh) will be played at the Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on October 9 and 10.
Ahead of the semifinals, a press conference will be held in the conference room of Hotel Cox’s Today, Cox’s Bazar at 1:30pm on Monday, October 8.
Head coaches and captains of all the semifinalist teams will attend the press conference.
Representatives of electronic and print media are cordially invited to attend the press conference.
