U16 girls get life insurance

Dhaka, May 28: Guardian Life Insurance will provide coverage for Bangladesh’s U16 Women’s Football Team.

The insurance company signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) at its Motijheel headquarters on Sunday.

Guardian Life Insurance Company will provide the group life and health insurance for the players and the team officials till 2020.

BFF president Kazi Salahuddin, vice president Mahiuddin Ahmed Mohi, BFF Women’s Committee President Mahfuza Akter Kiron and General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag were present from the national football federation. Square Pharmaceuticals Managing Director Tapan Chowdhury, Guardian Life Insurance CEO M M Manirul Alam and BRAC Microfinance and Ultrapoor Programme Director Shameran Abed were present at the agreement signing ceremony.
