Team BJMC picked up a surpise victory in Round 17 of Bangladesh Premier League 2018-19 at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka on Saturday evening.
The bottom-tablers beat Sheikh Jamal 2-1 to claim their first victory of the season.
Samson put BJMC in front in the 19th minute.
After the break, Kingsley doubled BJMC’s lead in the 53rd minute.
Shakhawat Rony then pulled one back for Jamal four minutes later but it could only serve as a consolation as Team BJMC walked away with 3 vital points in their quest for survival.
After the defeat, Sheikh Jamal now stand at seventh with 18 points from 16 games.
On the other hand, BJMC are still rock bottom with only 8 points from the same number of matches.
