Arambagh win tough battle over Chittagong Abahoni

Bangladesh Premier League mid table contenders Arambagh Krira Sangha on Sunday beat another mid-table team Chittagong Abahoni Ltd 1-0 to extend the point difference between them. The third game of the round 17 was held at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday afternoon when both the teams gave each other a tough battle to go one step ahead from the other. Therefore, the match was not a goal fest for none. Rather, the contenders continued their goalless fight until the 63rd minute of the play when Arambagh took the lead with the only goal of their foreign recruit Ideni Chinedu Matthew. After this match, Arambagh KS just consolidated their fifth position in the table with 23 points from 16 matches while Chittagong Abahoni holding their sixth place with 18 points from the same number of matches.
