SAFF security meeting held

Dhaka: Organized by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018 will be held from September 4 to 15 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A total of 7 countries, including hosts Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will also take part in the tournament. Ahead of the big international tournament, a meeting of the tournament’s security sub-committee was held in the conference room of the BFF House at 10:00am on Monday, August 27 with committee chairman ASP Abdus Salam of Industrial Police in the chair. All other members and executives of the security sub-committee were present at the meeting. Decisions regarding necessary security measures needed for the international tournament were taken at the meeting.
