Sabina-Krishna ready for new endeavour

Dhaka, March 12: Sabina Khatun, captain of Bangladesh women national team, and Krishna Rani Sarker will take part in “Indian Women’s League 2018”, a franchisee football league.

Ahead of their departure, a press conference was arranged in the conference room (2nd floor) of the BFF House in Motijheel at 3:00pm on Monday, March 12.

Sabina Khatun, Krishna Rani, BFF Executive Committee member and Women’s Committee Chairman Mahfuza Akhter Kiron, National Technical and Strategic Director Paul Thomas Smalley, Executive Committee member and women’s football committee member Amirul Islam Babu, BFF General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag were present at the briefing.

Sabina and Krishna are set to play for India’s Sethu FC in the Indian Women’s League.

Sabina already has the experience of playing abroad while this will be Krishna’s first taste of foreign club football.
