Recovery day for U16 girls ahead of China clash

Bangladesh U16 women’s team have enjoyed a relaxing recovery day following the historic second straight qualification for the AFC final phase. The girls beat host Myanmar 1-0 at Mandalay National Stadium, creating a potential to get ticket for FIFA U17 World Cup. The junior girls have spent their day with some light exercise, foam rollers, stretching and the pool session. Shamsunnahar junior, Tahura and Rupa had a rehabilitation session with the team physio as they had received injuries during yesterday’s match. The girls are getting prepared mentally and physically to face China in their last qualifying game on 3rd March. The match will begin at 2.30 pm (Bangladesh time). Talking about the China match, Golam Rabbani Choton said, “China is an excellent team. It’s a great opportunity for us to test our ability through aiming a win over such strong opponent.”
