Primary target achieved: Choton

Biratnagar: Bangladesh national women’s team are being overwhelmingly congratulated for their outstanding victory over Bhutan in the SAFF Women’s Championship’s group stage in Nepal. With the win, the Red and Green girls reaches the semifinals round eliminating their subcontinental opponents. While talking to media after the match, Bangladesh Coach Golam Robbani Choton said, “We’re now in the semifinals. The girls have done their jobs very well and fulfilled our expectations. Our primary target is achieved. I’m extremely proud of this achievement.” Talking about the match, Bangladesh team vice-captain Mishrat Jahan Moushumi told reporters that she was extremely pleased to score today for her team. “It was an important goal for us as we had created a number of chances throughout the game. We’ve done what we wanted to do and now we’re looking forward to our next game.” Commenting on Bangladesh team’s performance, Bhutan coach Sung Jea Lee lauded Bangladesh players. They are very energetic and powerful team. They’re also tactically ahead of us. They have good strength and stamina. They did very well in possessing the ball. He added that the Bhutan girls are also making improvements day by day.
