Dhaka: To commemorate and respect the memory of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the international Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018 will take place from October 1 to 12 at Dhaka’s Bangabandhu National Stadium, Sylhet District Stadium and Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium in Cox’s Bazar.
Apart from hosts Bangladesh, Palestine, Philippines, Laos, Nepal and Tajikistan will compete in the prestigious international tournament.
The tournament will kick-off on Monday, October 1 with the opening clash between Laos and hosts Bangladesh.
Ahead of the tournament, a press conference will be held in the conference room (7th floor) of Hotel Star Pacific, Dargah Gate, Sylhet at 3:00pm on Sunday, September 30.
Head coaches and captains of all the participating teams will attend the press conference.
Representatives of electronic and print media are cordially invited to attend the press conference.
