Press meet held ahead of Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018

Sylhet: To commemorate and respect the memory of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the international Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018 will take place from October 1 to 12 at Dhaka’s Bangabandhu National Stadium, Sylhet District Stadium and Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium in Cox’s Bazar. Apart from hosts Bangladesh, Palestine, Philippines, Laos, Nepal and Tajikistan will compete in the prestigious international tournament. The tournament will kick-off on Monday, October 1 with the opening clash between Laos and hosts Bangladesh. Ahead of the tournament, a press conference was held in the conference room (7th floor) of Hotel Star Pacific, Dargah Gate, Sylhet at 3:00pm on Sunday, September 30. Palestine head coach Noureddine Ouldali, team captain Md Bassem, Philippines head coach Josef Marimalinay, team captain Misagh Bahadoran, Laos head coach Mike Wong Mun Heng, team captain Tiny Boummala, Bangladesh head coach Jamie Day and player Jamal Bhuiyan attended the press conference.
