Lalmonirhat win BFF UNICEF U16 Women’s Championship

Lalmonirhat have trimpuhed in the BFF UNICEF U16 National Women’s Football Championship 2019 after claiming a 4-0 victory in the final at BSSSM Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur, Dhaka on Saturday afternoon. The Lalmonirhat girls beat Magura 4-0 to claim the maiden title of BFF UNICEF U16 National Women’s Football Championship. Shantona Khatun scored the opener for the winners before Liva Akter scored a hattrick to secure a commanding victory in the grand finale. Liva Akter won the Golden Boot with 16 goals whereas winning team talisman Moonki Akter was adjudged the most valuable player of the tournament. Rangamati district was given the fair play award.
