Dhaka Abahani to face Mohun Bagan FC in AFC Cup 2017

Dhaka, May 29: Dhaka Abahani Ltd will face off India’s Mohun Bagan FC in the AFC Cup 2017 group stages on May 31, Wednesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.

A pre-match press conference will be held in the BFF Conference Room in Dhaka’s Motijheel on May 30, Tuesday, where coaches, managers and captains of both the teams will participate and answer queries from reporters.

Dhaka Abahani Ltd qualified for AFC Cup 2017 for clinching the ‘JB Bangladesh Premier League 2015-16’ title.

Till now, Abahani Ltd has won 1 out of the 5 matches played in the group stages. In their last encounter against Kolkata based Mohun Bagan FC, Abahani lost 3-1 in the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in Kolkata.
