Confident ahead of Philippines match: Choton

Mandalay: Head coach Mr Choton is excited and looking forward to the first game of Bangladesh U16 against Philippines on 27th February. “We performed very well in Dhaka in round 1 against some good sides. Our performance against Vietnam was an indication of how we have improved and we are looking at repeating this similar standard in our first game,” he said. Meanwhile, after the first day of training, both senior women team and U16 girls are continuing their practice sessions in Myanmar. All players are adjusting to the condition and have no injury issues. They have gone through a medical screening this morning. Senior women’s team trained at the Myanmar regional Academy this morning while the U16 squad will have their conditioning training in the Fitness Suite at the Hotel. Later this afternoon, the U16 girls will also have a training session at the match venue.
