Bashundhara beat Muktijoddha 4-1

Bangladesh Premier League toppers Bashundhara Kings defeated Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangshad Krira Chakra 4-1 in their BPL match at Nilphamari Sheikh Kamal Stadium on Saturday. Surprisingly, Muktijoddha, who are now at the lower middle position in the point table, took lead in the 12th minute of the game with Royel’s goal. However, the Kings leveled the score line in the 33rd minute when their forward Nasir netted his first goal. The Bashundhara man brought lead for his team in the fourth additional minute of the first half scoring his second one. In the 67th minute, Bashundhara’s foreign recruit Marcos joined the party scoring his team’s third goal while Rana made the score line 4-1 in the 2nd additional minute of the play. However, the result of the today’s only match did not shake the point table. Bashundhara are seven points clear at the top of the table with 46 points from 16 matches while Muktijoddha are at the 8th place with 17 points from 17 matches.
