Dhaka: The theme song of Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018 has been launched to get the fans hyped about the prestigious tournament.
The song titled ‘Ay dole, ay bole’ by Adit featuring Momtaz was launched at a glamorous launching ceremony at the BFF House on Sunday.
Honourable Minister for Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor attended the theme song launching ceremony as the chief guest.
BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy, MP, vice president Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, BFF member Amirul Islam Babu, Harunur Rashid, Bijon Barua, Md Iqbal Hossain, Md Fazlur Rahman Babul, Md Arif Hossain (Moon), Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, K-Sports CEO Fahad Karim, Director Ashfaq Ahmed and COO Mahbubur Rashid were also present at the ceremony among others.
The theme song written by Rakib Hasan Rahul and composed by Adit brings out the emotion of the game through the flow of music.
To commemorate and respect the memory of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the international Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018 will take place from October 1 to 12 at Dhaka’s Bangabandhu National Stadium, Sylhet District Stadium and Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium in Cox’s Bazar.
Apart from hosts Bangladesh, Palestine, Philippines, Laos, Nepal and Tajikistan will compete in the prestigious international tournament.
