Arambagh, Ctg Abahoni ready to lock horns in Independence Cup final

Dhaka, February 10: Arambagh Krira Sangha and Chittagong Abahoni Ltd. are all set to fight it out for the Independence Cup title.

The final match of the WALTON Independence Cup 2018 will kick-off at 4:00pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on Saturday.

Somoy TV and The Daily Prothom Alo will telecast the match Live on their YouTube channels.

Ahead of the final, a pre-match press conference was held at the BFF House which was attended by the head coaches and captains of the finalist teams.

Arambagh coach AKM Maruful Haque and skipper Mahbubur Rahman Sufil expressed their wish to continue their prolific run against Chittagong Abahoni in the final.

Coach Maruful said that he wants to win the title to dedicate it to the language martyrs of 1952.

Ctg Abahoni coach Zulfikar Mahmud Mintu and captain Ashraful Islam Rana also expressed their confidence of lifting the prestigious trophy.

Both the teams promised to give it their all and entertain the fans with top quality football.
