National Team residency camp kicks off

Dhaka, February 13: SAFF Championship 2018 is slated to be held in Dhaka from 4th to 15th September, 2018.

As a part of the preparation for the tournament, the Bangladesh national team will take part in an international match in Laos under the ‘FIFA Tier-1 International Football Match’ schedule.

To get the players up and ready for the match, a residency camp of the 35 primarily selected players has begun from Tuesday, February 13 at the international hostel of BKSP in Savar.

Before the residency camp kicked off, the BFF arranged a press conference to inform about the Bangladesh National Football Team training schedule at around 3:15pm in the BFF House.

BFF President Kazi Salahuddin, federation’s vice president and National Team’s Committee Chairman Kazi Nabil Ahmed MP, BFF member and Media Committee Chairman Md Amirul Islam Babu, Team Manager Satyajit Das Rupu, head coach Andrew Ord, fitness coach Mario Licinio Guerreiro Lemos and BFF Technical and Strategic Director Paul Thomas Smalley answered queries from reporters in the press meet.

Ord hoped that the team will play its due rule and will be prepared well in the camp. “The footballers in the camps will form a strong team which will bring in good results in the future.”
