Walton Accords Reception to BFF’s 8 SSC Pass Female Booters

Walton will accord eight women footballers of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) who passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination this year after the situation becomes normal.  
The booters are: Defender Akhi Khatun, Defender Shamsunnahar, Forward Sirat Jahan Sopna, Defender Anai Mogini, Defender Rituporna Chakma, Forward Sajeda Khatun, Forward Rehana Akhter and Midfielder Mahfuza Khatun. Among them, Akhi, Shamsunnahar and Sopna represents Bangladesh national team while the rest of them played for age-level teams.  
Among them, Akhi obtained 3.83,  Rituporna 3.50, Sajeda 2.58, Rehena 3.75, Sopna 3.93, Shamsunnahar 3.10, Anai 2.50 and Mahfuza 4.47. All of the girls passed from humanities groups from their respective education boards this year. 
Confirming it, BFF General Secretary Md Abu Nayeem Sohag told to media, “Our eight women booters passed SSC this year. Pleased to know that Walton has decided to accord them reception. We will arrange the program after situation becomes normal. I will talk with the head coach of women team Golam Rabbani Choton.”
Executive Director of Walton Group (Games & Sports, Marketing) FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn said, “We have been with Bangladesh Women Football team from the very beginning. We have been working for the development of women football. We are happy that 8 of female booters passed SSC successfully. We congratulate them, we will accord reception to them as soon as possible,” he added.
Expressing her joy, defender Akhi told to media, “I had to skip my exam last year for the Under-16 championship qualifiers in Myanmar. But, I am very happy now and have distributed sweets. It was really tough to concentrate on study alongside three-time practice sessions in a day … I want to study up to university level.” 
The girl from Sirajganj Akhi failed to attend the exam last year due to the AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship Qualifiers round-2 held in Myanmar. She also played for Bashundhara Kings in women’s league along with Shamsunnahar. 
Another successful SSC candidate Anai Mogini said, “I distributed sweets among the guest. All are happy as I passed. I wish to continue my study and football side by side.”
