Uttar Baridhara win 4-2, Agrani vs T&T ends in draw

Dhaka: On the first match of Thursday’s fixture of the Bangladesh Champions League 2018-19, Uttar Baridhara Club beat Soccer Club Feni with 4-2 on the scoreboard. Sopikul had scored for Feni at the 13th minute, but the opposition came back strong with three goals at the 43rd, 53rd, 69th by Sumon, Shahidul and Samin respectively. With a 3-1 lead, Uttar Baridhara Club slacked in the defence and Sawon took the chance for Feni and scored at the 75th minute, taking the board to 3-2. Arif scored again for Uttar Baridhara at the BSSSM Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka’s Kamalapur at the 88th minute, ending the high scoring match with 4-2 on the scoreboard. In the other match of the day at the same venue, Agrani Bank Ltd SC and T&T Club left the pitch with a draw. With the latest standings, Agrani Bank stands at the second position, T&T at 5th while Uttara Baridhara and Soccer Club Feni are at the 7th and 9th position respectively.
