Dushanbe: The players of Bangladesh U19 women’s national team are ready and prepared to take on South Korea in their first match of Group D of the AFC U19 Women’s Championship 2019 qualifiers.
The South Korea-Bangladesh match will kick-off at 3:00pm (BDST) on Wednesday at the Pamir Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Ahead of the beginning of the tournament, a press conference was held on Tuesday with the head coaches and captains of all 4 participating teams.
Here is what the coaches and players had to say:
Bangladesh head coach Golam Robbani Choton: said All Teams are good enough in this Group, Our Team have also good preparation for last 12 month , This month We win the Championship of SAFF U-18 Women’s Championship 2018 at Bhutan, Also our Girls have now good experience & confidence to Play in this AFC U-19 Women’s Competition , We have some players in this Squad those who play the SAFF U-15 & AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2017. Thanks to AFC & Tajikistan Football Federation for Organizing this Tournament.
Bangladesh captain Moushumi Akhter: We are ready to give a Good Match against South Korea, Everybody is serious about our First Match, Everybody will give Full effort in this match .
South Korea Head Coach Hut Jung Jae: Thanks to Tajikistan Football Federation We prepare very strongly for winning all the match. Bangladesh are good & nice team, It will be agood competative match tomorrow between Ban Vs South Korea. Also we we less idea about Bangladesh U-18 Women’s National Football Team.
Chinese Taipei Head Coach Robin: All Teams are very Good, We are tired after having 24 Hrs long Journey, also temperature are too cold for our Team. Bangladesh are doing good progress in Women’s Football now, Berween Bangladesh & Chinese Taipei it will be very good Competative match is 50 -50 % chance to win the match for both Team, We want to do a good result in this Tournament.
Tajikistan Head Coach Kanoot Katipor Tj: We wellcome all team at Tajikistan, South Korea is the favourite in this group , Then Bangladesh is also good team have some Experience players in the Team, We want to make happy our Spectators by having good game to show at the match & Want to qualify for the next Round. Also saying Every Team have chance to go in the next round.
Bangladesh U-19 Women’s National Football Team are ready & have much now Confidence to give a good Match against South Korean U-19 Women’s National Football Team, Because our girls just complete a Brilliant result in SAFF U-18 Women’s Championship 2018 as unbeaten Champion at Bhutan. They play fantastic match against Pakistan & Nepal in the Group stage then with Bhutan in the semi Final comprehensions big win & at Final they play very strongly against Nepal in different Style to Win the match at the Final, They have know idea & have good experience by playing some International matches for playing good match . After that they have some good practice at Home Bangladesh for One month. Many players of Bangladesh Team in this Tournament have good experience for playing some practice match at abroad & also in AFC U-16 & SAFF U-15 International Tournament .
Now the Team reached at Dhusanbe Tajikistan some days before the Tournament start , they having some good practice session here until today & they also recovery physically & mentally after having long Journey from Bangladesh to Tajikistan , Also they adjust with the Weather Condition of Tajikistan because In Tajikistan the weather is slightly cold in morning & less Humidity compare with Bangladesh But at Match time it is Hot same like Bangladesh that is help ful for our Bangladesh Team.
Everybody of the Bangladesh Team players & Officials are Well & ok physically & Mentally, No injury problem in the Team. Only One problem is that Our Krishna Rani Sarker cannot play the first two match because she got Red card in the Last Tournament of AFC U-16 W omens Championship 2017 Thailand Final Round , Krishna can play at the last match against Tajikistan.
Players are ready to give good game & have confidence to fight in the first match against Giant South Korea, As you know Korea are one of the Top International Team in the World Football Nation. They all are ready to think about their first match
Today the players had a nice practice session at 2:00 pm at the match venue of Dushanbe republican Stadium of Tajikistan for One Hour.
