Thimpu: Bangladesh U15 women’s national team have secured their place in the final of the SAFF U15 Women’s Championship 2018.
The Red and Greens crushed hosts Bhutan 5-0 in the second semifinal of the tournament at the Changlimithang Stadium, Thimpu on Thursday.
Maria and co began to dominate Bhutan from the beginning of the game.
Anai Mogini drew first blood for the reigning champions with a scintillating long range right foot rocket from way outside the box in the 18th minute.
Then Anuching Mogini came up with her version of a golazo in the 38th minute when she netted a right footed volley from just outside the box.
Then Tohura Khatun tapped in the third in the 43rd minute to give Bangladesh a 3-0 cushion going into the break.
After the break, captain Maria Manda scored another right footed rocket from outside the box in the 69th minute.
Shaheda Akter Ripa completed the 5-0 rout of the hosts in the 86th minute of the game.
The team looked in control though out the match and will look to emulate the same form in the final.
Notably, India beat Nepal 2-1 in the first semifinal meaning a replay of the final match of last year’s tournament.
The final between India and Bangladesh will kick off at 7:00pm at the Changlimithang Stadium on Saturday, August 18.

Our Team Play their natural match , First 30 Minutes the match was played both Team good But we play Attacking from the beginning & having goal Our Team play more organized way after having Goals having more speed take full control of the match.The Bhutan Team is developing now but they play defensive from the beginning & could not take the pressure of Bangladesh attack lost their Confident in the match . I am very happy & satisfied on our Bangladeshi Girl for Won the match & reached in the Final. Our last target to win the Championship once again. We prove that we are now favorite in this tournament.
Twin Sisters Anai & Anuching : We are very happy that we both sister score 2 goal in the match & win our Bangladesh team to play in the Final . Our last target to Win the Final & clinch the Championship .
Tohura I am very happy again I score in the semi final match & reached in the Final.
Bhutan Team Head Coach – Sung Jea Lee (Korean): Bangladesh Team is very strong practice team & have skill, experience team. We BhutanTeam play well in beginning but couldn’t take the pressure of Bangladesh attack , there attacking wings are very good strong & balanced team So we Lost against Bangladeshi Girls in big margin.
