Trophy & Logo Unveiling Ceremony of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Gold Cup Football Tournament Boys U-17 & Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib National Gold Cup Football Girls U-17 at NSC held

A trophy and logo unveiling ceremony were held at the National Sports Council tower for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Gold Cup Football Tournament Boys U-17 & Bangamata Sheikh Fozilatunnessa Mujib National Gold Cup Football Girls U-17 on 31st August 2019. This initiative is taken by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. State Minister for Ministry of Youth and Sports Mr. Zahid Ahsan Russel, MP was the Chief Guest of this ceremony.

The Youth and Sports Secretary Dr Jafar Uddin and the President of BFF Kazi Salahuddin were present as the special guest.

A total of 1,13050 players with 4,828 from Upazila, 581 from the district, 68 from division and eight teams from national level will participate in the second edition of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Under-17 tournament. The inaugural edition of the Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Under-17 National Gold Cup will start from the district level when a total of 11826 players from 581 teams from districts, 68 teams from division and eight teams from the national are taking part in the countrywide age group football tournament. The tournaments start from 1st September 2019
