Sonali Otit Club mourns death of footballer Montu

Dhaka: The Sonali Otit Club has released a condolence message at the sudden demise of former footballer Ahsanullah Montu.

President of the club Md Khurshid Alam Babul, General Secretary Satyajit Das Rupu and other members have expressed deep sorrow at the cohort’s death and expressed their condolences for the family of Montu.

In his career, Montu served as a football trainer for BFF and was the organizing secretary of the Sonali Otit Club.

On Tuesday, June 26, at 7pm, Montu died of a heart attack while being taken to Birden Hospital in Dhaka at the age of 56.

He has left behind his wife, son and two daughters along with numerous fans and well-wishers.
