Saif beat Rahmatganj 2-1

Dhaka: Saif Sporting Club Limited claimed their second consecutive victory beating Rahmatganj MFS 2-1 at the latter’s home Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on Friday evening. Saif looked upbeat straight from the kick-off and it only took them 12 minutes to take the lead. Cordoba scored in the 12th minute to give Saif the lead. Skipper Jamal Bhuiyan then scored in the 14th minute to double Saif’s lead. The first half ended with Saif leading 2-0. Rahmatganj put up a more composed display in the second half and also scored a goal to show for it. Enamul scored in the 55th minute to minimize the margin of Rahmatganj’s loss. Saif are now 4th on the BPL table with 26 points from 13 games whereas Rahmatganj are 9th with 12 points from the same number of matches.
