SAFF teams ready for the semis, press-conference held

Dhaka: Ahead of the start semi-finals of the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018 on September 12, 2018, a pre-match press conference was held at the BFF House in Dhaka’s Motijheel at 1pm with members of the semi-finalist teams. The tournament, which started in September 4, saw India, Maldives, Nepal and Pakistan qualify for the semis. Assistant coach of the Indian National Team, Shanmugam Venkatesh, chief coach of Pakistan National Team, Jose Antonio Nogueira and captain Saddam Hussain, coach of Maldives National Team Petar Segrt and captain Mohammed Mujuthaaz Ges and captain of Nepal National Team Bal Gopal Mahrajan and captain Biraj Maharjan attended the press meet. All teams promised to do their best to reach the finals of the prestigious tournament. Nepal will face Maldives on Wednesday, September 10 at 4pm and India will face Pakistan at 7:30pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Both matches will be telecasted live on BTV and Channel-9.
