Bangladesh national team will begin their journey towards the qualifying round of FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 with the match against Laos in the pre-qualifier phase.
In this phase, Bangladesh and Laos will face each other twice. The first leg will be held in Laos capital Vientiane on June 6 while the second leg is scheduled to be in Dhaka on June 11.
Keeping the qualifying tie against Laos in mind, Bangladesh Football Federation has organized a 10-day training camp for the national team in Thailand.
Bangladesh team will leave Dhaka for Thailand on May 24. In Thailand, the team will play two friendly matches against two Thai Premier League Clubs.
On May 28, Bangladesh will play against Air Force United FC before squaring off against BG Pathum United FC on June 1.
Now, before the national team flies for Thailand, BFF has arranged a press conference to brief the media about the team’s preparation and other aspects.
The press conference will be held in the conference room of the BFF House (2nd floor) in Motijheel, Dhaka at 3:30pm on Thursday, 23 May 2019.
Bangladesh head coach Jamie Day and captain Jamal Bhuyan will be present at the press meet.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend the press conference.
