Dhaka: Abahani Ltd. Dhaka will compete in AFC Cup 2019 owning to their title winning run in the Bangladesh Premier League 2017-18.
The Dhaka giants will compete in Group E (South) of AFC Cup 2019 against India’s Minerva Punjab, Chennaiyin FC and Nepal’s Manang Marshyangdi Club.
The first matchday of Group E (South) is April 3, Wednesday and the Sky Blues will fly to Nepal to face Manang Marshyangdi Club in their first match.
The match will be played at the ANFA Complex Ground in Kathmandu, Nepal at 3:15pm Bangladesh time.
The group round will continue till June 26.
Before Abahani begin their AFC Cup quest, a press conference will be held in the conference room of the BFF House (2nd floor) in Motijheel, Dhaka at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 30 to brief the media about the team’s preparation and other aspects.
The team’s head coach, manager and captain will attend the press conference and answer to queries from journalists.
Representatives of electronic and print media are cordially requested to attend the press meet at the scheduled time.
