Dhaka: Bangladesh Police FC and Dhaka City FC picked up crucial victories over T&T Club, Motijheel and Wari Club respectively in the Bangladesh Championship League 2018-19 on Saturday.
Amirul scored the winner for Police FC in the 44th minute.
The other match of the day saw three goals scored where Dhaka City overcame Wari Club.
Kanchan broke the deadlock in the 54th minute to give Dhaka City the lead.
Mahi then doubled the lead in the 69th minute.
Amitab’s strike in the second minute of added time was only a consolation for Wari.
With the wins, Dhaka City and Police FC are now second and third on the table whereas T&T and Wari settle for fifth and eighth respectively.
