Police FC, already guaranteed promotion to BPL, drew 2-2 with bottom table Swadinata KS in the ongoing Bangladesh Championship League 2018-19 at BSSSM Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur, Dhaka on Wednesday.
Rasel opened the scoring for Police in the 7th minute.
However, the table toppers lost the lead in the 22nd minute when Bokor netted the ball for Swadhinata.
Tareq then put Police up against it by scoring in the 28th minute.
The teams went into the break with Police trailing Swadhinata 2-1.
Isa then salvaged a point for Police by scoring in the third added minute after the regulation 90 minutes were over.
Police FC stay atop the BCL table with 33 points from 18 matches whereas Swadhinata are rock bottom and doomed to be relegated with only 14 points from the same number of matches.
In the second match of the day, Agrani Bank Limited Sporting Club brushed away Soccer Club Feni 3-0 to climb up the BCL table.
Sabbir opened the scoring in the 37th minute.
Ahsanur then doubled Agrani’s lead in the third added minute at the end of the first half.
It was Ahsanur again who put the cherry on top of Agrani Bank’s win by scoring in the 74th minute.
Agrani Bank now seat at the 4th spot on the BCL table with 26 points from 18 games.
Soccer Club Feni are 10th and at risk of being relegated with 19 points from 19 matches.
