On the occasion of the match of "FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022" and "AFC Asian Cup China 2023 (Preliminary Joint Round-2)" between Bangladesh and Oman, the official press conference of the Bangladesh National Football Team was held on 14 June 2021 at 3.30 pm Qatar time (6.30 pm Bangladesh time). Bangladesh national football team head coach Jamie Day and Bangladesh national football team captain Tapu Barman interacted with media personnel in the press conference.

Bangladesh national football team captain Tapu Barman said that, “We know very well about our opponent. They are very good players. We have also our game plan. I think we are ready. We will try our best and want to make our nation proud.”  

The match will be played on June 15, 2021 at 8.10 pm Qatar time (Bangladesh time 11.10 pm). The match between the Oman national football team will be telecast live on T Sports and GTV.

At the end of the press conference, the practice session of the Bangladesh national football team will be held at the Qatar University ground from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm (Bangladesh time from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm).
