Former FIFA referee Golam Hafiz no more

Dhaka, April 21: Former FIFA referee and international kabadi referee Golam Hafiz breathed his last at his own residence on Saturday at 10:00am.

He was 89 at the time of his demise due to brain stroke. He was also suffering from cancer for a long time.

Golam Hafiz has left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and numerous well-wishers to mourn his death.

His Janaza (funeral) prayer was held after the Zohr prayer at KM Das Lane Mosque in Gopibagh on Saturday.

Golam Hafiz will be laid to rest at his family graveyard in Laskarhat of Feni.

BFF President Kazi Salahuddin, Senior Vice President Abdus Salam Murshedy, vice presidents, executive committee members, general secretaries and all employees of the federation have expressed their condolences over to Golam Hafiz’s family members and prayed for the eternal peace of his soul.
