Fed Cup: Punishment reduced for penalized players

http://jalaleeradio.com/uploads/125502.jpg Dhaka: Several decisions were taken at a meeting of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Appellate Committee at Motijheel BFF building on Tuesday with committee chairman Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury in the chair. The meeting has unanimously approved the following decisions 1. Bashundhara Kings player Sushant Tripura will be banned in next 6 (six) matches instead of 8 (eight). However, he has to pay Tk1,00,000 as fine as per the previous decision of the committee. 2. Bashundhara Kings player Touhidul Alam Sabuj and Dhaka Abahani Limited player Mohammad Mamun Mia will be banned in 5 matches instead of 6 matches. And each of them has to pay Tk. 50,000 as fine as per the previous decision. 3. The appeal of Dhaka Abahani Limited player Mohammad Nabib Newaz Jibon was produced before the Appellate Committee. But the committee observed that it was not appealable as per Article 39.5 of the Regulation made for Walton Federation Cup 2018.
