Abahani Ltd Dhaka and Chittagong Abahoni Ltd played out a 2-2 draw in their BPL meeting at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday evening.
After a goalless first half, Dhaka Abahani’s Mamun came up to break the deadlock at the 64th minute.
11 minutes later, Chittagong Abahoni level the score line as their foreign recruit Daniel scored a goal from a penalty kick.
At the 80th minute of the game, Dhaka get their second lead with another national team star Jibon’s scoring.
At the first additional minute of the play, Chittagong could secure one point as another foreign recruit Kingsley netted.
This draw helped neither team as both of them are still staying at the places where they were before the game.
