Brothers win 2-1 over Nofel to stay out of relegation zone

Brothers Union Ltd on Thursday picked up three points defeating Nofel Sporting Club 2-1 to stay out of the relegation zone in Bangladesh Premier League. The BPL match was held at Bangabandhu National Stadium this afternoon. The Brothers got their first lead at the 19th minute of the game when their star forward Rabby netted his only goal. After making several attempts, Nofel finally came back in the game at the 50th minute with Jamir’s scoring. But, at the 80th minute, Brothers got their second goal from their foreign recruit Moga. This goal finally brought them three points which eventually helped them to stay above the relegation zone. After this match, both Nofel and Brothers have 16 points from 19 matches each. However, the Noakhali club are ahead of the Brothers in terms of goal difference which keeps Nofel at the 10th position and Brothers at the 11th.
