Brothers sink Sheikh Jamal to claim 3 vital points

Brothers Union Limited registered a thumping victory over Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon. The Old Dhaka outfit thrashed the Dhanmondi big boys 5-2 to help their cause of avoiding relegation from BPL. Ariful gave Brothers the lead in the 15th minute before Moga added a second five minutes later. Amil then brought one back Sheikh Jamal in the 27th minute. Foreign recruit Ebou hinted at a comeback for Sheikh Jamal by equalizing in the 38th minute. However, their dreams were shattered only a minute later when Ariful again put Brothers in the lead. Moga then made it 4-2 in the 62nd minute before Rabby put the final nail in Sheikh Jamal’s coffin in the 77th minute. Sheikh Jamal are now sixth on the BPL table with 21 points 18 matches whereas Brothers are twelfth with 13 points from 17 games.
