Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan Manik, Vice President of BFF and Chairman of BFF Development Committee and Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag, General Secretary of BFF participated in a press conference at BFF head office in Motijheel on 12 August 2021.

At the conference, BFF Vice President and Chairman of BFF Development Committee Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan said, "Finally, we are going to start the activities of our academy on September 1, 2021. We have been trying to start it for the last four-five months but we have not been able to do so due to the pandemic situation. We have selected 47 players across the country for the academy. After a month of training, we will divide them into groups by age, and they will be able to participate in the next competition.'
