BFF to issue lottery tickets from March 20

Dhaka, January 11: Bangladesh Football Federation is going to issue lottery for the second time with a view to gathering fund for its development activities.

The authority concerned of the finance ministry has given the permission on Thursday (January 11) to arrange the lottery program.

Tickets, worth 20 Taka each, will be sold from March 20 to May 3, 2018 in this regard and the draw of the lottery program will take place on May, 5.

First prize of the lottery is Taka 30 lacs while 624 more prizes, worth Taka 50 lacs in total, will be given to other winners.

A 13-member committee, chairing BFF’s senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy, has been formed in this regard.

This time the BFF has aimed to gain more fund as it has planned to spend in several football development programs.

Therefore, the BFF has sought help from the banks, insurance firms and public/private firms around the country so that the lottery program can be run smoothly.
