BFF President meets U16 and U18 girls

Dhaka: BFF President Kazi Md Salahuddin met the footballers of Bangladesh U16 and U18 women’s national teams at the BFF House on Monday. All the 39 players of the U16 and U18 age group were present in the meeting. Kazi Salahuddin exchanged greetings with the players, congratulated the u16 team on their AFC qualifiers success and motivated the U18 team for the upcoming SAFF U18 Women’s Championship 2018 to be held in Bhutan. The U16 girls secured a place in the second round of the AFC U16 Women’s Championship 2019 qualifiers by becoming unbeaten champions of Group F scoring 27 goals and conceding none. This brilliant performance brought praise for the U16 girls from the BFF President who also got the U18 players pumped up to go for the crown in the upcoming SAFF Championship. BFF’s national technical and strategic director Paul Thomas Smalley, BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, head coach Golam Rabbani Choton, assistant coach Litu and team manager Amirul Islam Babu were also present on the occasion.
