BFF Observes AFC Women’s Football Day on March 8

Celebrating International Women's Day 'AFC Women’s Football Day 2020' was jointly arranged by Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on March 8, 2020. 193 young women from different schools & institutions participated in the tournament.

BFF executive committee member, Bangladesh Football Federation's women wing chairman, Fifa Council Member, and AFC member Mahfuza Akter Kiron, BFF member Mr. Amit Khan Shuvro, BFF general secretary Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag, general secretary of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Mr. Anwarul Haque Helal attended the ceremony as the chief guest of the tournament. head coach of Bangladesh national football team Mr. Jamie Day and BFF's technical director Mr. Stuart Paul Wattkiss were also present at the event.

All of 193 participants were awarded AFC certificates
