Today birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's youngest son Sheikh Russel. On the occasion of his birthday, Bangladesh Football Federation held several programs.

01. A cake cutting ceremony held at the BFF building in Motijheel at 3:30 pm.

02. A friendly football match was held on the artificial turf adjacent to the BFF building in Motijheel at 4.00 pm.

Abdus Salam Murshedy, MP, Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Professional League Management Committee, cut the cake on the occasion of Sheikh Russell's birth anniversary. He was also present as the chief guest in the friendly football match and then he handed over trophies and medals to the players. Also present at the friendly football match were BFF member Md. Elias Hossain, Tipu Sultan, Mohidur Rahman Miraj and Member Secretary of Third Division Football League Zakir Hossain.
