Mr. Abdus Salam Murshedy, Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Football Federation, MP and Chairman of the Professional League Management Committee of the Bangladesh Football Federation held a press conference on the "Bangladesh Premier League 2020-21" under the Professional League Management Committee. In the press conference, BFF's decision on the starting of the 20th round was informed. The 20th round will be started from 3rd August 2021 between North Baridhara Club and Chittagong Abahani Ltd. and Brothers Union Ltd. and Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society at Bangabandhu National Stadium and Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur, respectively.

It was informed that Bangladesh Army Stadium may be added as the venue of "Bangladesh Premier League 2020-21" from 05 August 2021. In addition, a meeting of the sub-committee on "Bangladesh Premier League 2020-21" under the Professional League Management Committee of the Bangladesh Football Federation will be held on August 1, 2021 at 7:15 pm through the online platform Zoom.
