BFF Academy U-15 and U-18 trials held in Lalmonirhat, Barguna

Dhaka: As part of Bangladesh Football Federation’s plans to start training for U-15 and U-18 footballers in the newly formed BFF Academy in Dhaka’s Beraid, trials for selecting the players were held in Lalmonirhat of Rangpur division and Barguna of Barishal division on Tuesday, February 5. After day-long trials conducted by BFF certified coaches and scouts, 5 players from the U-15 pool and 4 players from the U-18 pool were selected from Lalmonirhat. In addition to that, 3 players from the U-15 pool and 4 players from the U-18 pool were handpicked in Barguna. The selected players will start training in the BFF Academy from March 1, 2019 along with other players selected through trial processes from all across the country. The players will be under long term residency programme during their stay in the BFF Academy, formed by BFF to boost the number of footballing talent in the country. The trial programme in Barguna was inaugurated by the Barguna Ditrict Football Association President Md Alamgir Hossain.
