Bangladesh F4F delegation reaches Russia

Moscow: The Bangladesh delegation for Gazprom Football for Friendship (F4F) programme reached Russian capital Moscow on Friday.

The delegation was cordially received with flower bouquets by programme officials and expatriate Bangladeshis at the airport.

Later, the team was accommodated at Hotel Moscow, Izmailovskoe Shosse, House 71.

On Saturday, selected Bangladeshi 12-year-old footballer Rafi and other members of the delegation participated in the opening ceremony of FIFA Football for Friendship Program 2018, Moscow, Russia along with participants from 211 other countries.

Rafi carried the Bangladeshi national flag during the opening ceremony.

Rafi, along with 6 other players, will compete in the F4F festival under the banner of Team Galapagos Sea Lion.

The weather was rather easier for the Bangladeshi delegation to get used to with temperatures between 14 to 17 degrees Celsius and occasional wind.
