AFC delegates praise BFF’s technical department

Dhaka: Two AFC delegates and members of the Coach Education Panel Morteza Mohases, Technical Director of Iran, and Kim Pangon, Technical Director of South Korea – are now in Bangladesh to visit and observe the ongoing AFC A Certificate Coaching Course. The first phase of the course, organized by BFF, is underway since May 4 and will continue till 14 at BFF headquarters in Motijheel and at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. A total of 21 coaches, including 11 from different foreign countries, are members of the course. The AFC delegates arrived here on Wednesday. They have already held a meeting with Paul Thomas Smalley, technical director of the BFF. After their primary observation, the delegates expressed their compliments over both the theoretical and practical sessions of the course conducted by Paul Smalley who is the instructor. They were also impressed by how the BFF have provided a modern coach education scheme for their coaches in Bangladesh and their commitment to improve the coaching culture. They congratulated the BFF General Secretary on recruiting such an experienced technical director and will be writing a positive report to the AFC Coach Education Panel.
